Recently Pope Francis identified a “global war” against traditional marriage and the family, and he claimed both were under attack from gender theory.
“Today, there is a global war out to destroy marriage,” Francis said.
What are the Christians afraid of? What is a “traditional” family? A traditional family is one led by a patriarch. The modern family is evolving away from patriarchal dominance toward an open relationship where all family members are respected equally. No longer does a male patriarch dominate and make all the decisions for the family members. Of course, any patriarch would feel threatened by an ideology whereby his power is diminshed.
Noone is out to destroy marriage. We want to improve marriage! We want to allow more people to experience the love and joy of having a long-term partner; however, this means a demise for the Patriarchy. Marriage and families are becoming all inclusive, and above all, more tolerant.
Christianity did not invent marriage and does not have a monopoly on it. The Patriarchs, not only in the Catholic Church but also throughout Christendom, fear a loss of power and are waging a global war against the rights of individuals to fully experience themselves and to recognize their gender identity. Two or more sensible persons can build a happy family regardless of what gender pronouns describe them. Family values can be upheld by persons of any gender and any sexual orientation.
Teaching tolerance to children is “terrible” and “demonic” according to the Christian Patriarch.
Only a few weeks ago Pope Francis focused criticism on educational systems that tolerate and advocate gender choice, specifically calling it “terrible”, and a couple of years ago, he even went so far as to call gender ideology “demonic”. He has also ridiculed the elementary school system for introducing a gender-tolerant curriculum.
What is this terrible, demonic curriculum? Teaching kids not to be bullies toward girly boys and not to tease boyish girls? Teaching tolerance to children is “terrible” and “demonic” according to the Patriarch of the Church.
Let us take a closer look at this terrible, demonic curriculum: new guidelines claim that kindergarten students as young as five should understand there are many ways to express gender. By second grade, students will be taught the importance of treating others with respect regarding gender expression. The guidelines ask teachers in fifth grade to promote ways to show respect for all people specifically within the context of gender identity and sexual preference. The guidelines define “gender” as a social construct based on emotional, behavioral, and cultural characteristics attached to a person’s assigned biological sex.
Gender identification is not something a child can control, and society needs to change, not our children.
President Obama’s home state Hawaii is one the first states with kindergarten sex-ed to teach children about gender roles, gender ideology, and that homosexuality and transgenderism are the healthy, wholesome moral equivalents of male/female reproduction. Busy parents often do not have time to impart politically-correct versions of morality and decency onto their children which provides an imperative to get this curriculum into the early grades. Other school systems are also teaching that gender is merely a fluid social construct.
Gender identification is not something a child can control, and society needs to change, not our children. Families need to support their children, and they need to be encouraged to grow-up free of gender roles. Our education system needs to seek fair and equal treatment for all transyouth. The schools should support TransKids providing them equal rights in order to ensure a safe and bully-free education. More needs to be done to educate and enlighten society and to challenge injustices due to discrimination at all ages.
We should accept people for who they are, not what we think they should be. Transgender people are all too often the victim of hate crimes. The importance of instilling a strong sense of values, including self-esteem and positive decision-making skills in trans-children must be emphasized. Teaching children tolerance is a no-brainer. Children need to understand the many ways to express gender so that they can grow into tolerant adults.
Christian Patriarchs see the writing on the wall. Tolerant children will grow up to be tolerant adults. However, these children will not learn the traditional role of the patriarch. The patriarchs realize their power will be lost as families evolve away from male dominance.
I think that “Marriage Equality Act” does not go far enough, and is in itself discriminatory! While it correctly allows same-gender marriages (or marriages between any two people in gender continuum), it still discriminates against people who want to engage in polygamist relationships. For example, it is clear that the racist, sexist system in the US is biased against Muslims, who can marry up to four wives, which is still illegal here. What is three Lesbian Americans, five cis-men and eight Gay Americans want to get married? Why should that not be allowed?
The main argument for gay marriage is “Marriage should be between a spouse and a spouse, not a gender and a gender.” This is still incredibly biased, hurtful, and backwards. The correct statement should be “Marriage should be between any number of spouse(s) and any number of spouse(s), not between two people of specified genders”

I’m not sure 71 bathrooms will cut it. We also have disabled people of all 71 genders, and many more trans-species individuals who don’t identify as purely human. Assuming there are roughly five major trans-species identities, we need 71 bathrooms for cis-species individuals, plus 5 x 71 for each trans-species identity, and then we need an extra bathroom for disabled people of each gender-species combination. So in total I make this (71 + (5 x 71)) x 2 = 852 bathrooms.

Yes. It is absolutely clear by someone who watches CNN that the importance is not in the content of hacked email messages. The importance is that they were HACKED. Especially, since they were hacked by RUSSIANS, as reported by CNN, MSNBC, and other news outlets, which specialize in cybercrime and are very good at determining who, how, and when hacked what.
I would suggest that Clintons take inspiration from one-party system of Soviet Union/Russia, or North Korea. It is not too outlandish to suggest that after Bill was a president for 8 years, we can have Hillary for 8 years, then Chelsea for another 8 years, and then Bill or Hillary again, perhaps by executive order instead of elections. This would avoid the need for money-wasting election process. This system has worked well in N.Korea, with Kim’s in power since 1946, or in Russia, with Putin in power since 1999.
