As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to spread at an exponential rate in every place except China, who’s trustworthy government has accurately reported that there are virtually no new cases, people have started to panic and desperately search for “alternative” ways to protect themselves against the virus. But as we’ve stated many times at the Accredited Times, anything with the word “alternative” placed before it, is likely to be unscientific, fraudulent and downright useless. Take for example, the “alternative media”, which was widely criticized for spreading fake rumors about Hillary’s emails, and the amount of money that the U.K. paid each year to the EU. Then consider the “alternative right”, which is a movement led by white radicals who advocate for ethnocentrism within the white population, which is wrong according to subjective moral philosophies manufactured by people with opposing interests. And finally, consider the “alternative health” space, which is fraught with quackery and fake science that is universally rejected by for-profit pharmaceutical companies and their highly astute connections in the FDA. It is the former and latter of these alternative spaces that serve as the greatest sources of misinformation about the Coronavirus, and this article aims to dispel some of the primary myths that they appear to be circulating currently.

Taking Supplements Will Help You Fight the Virus

The Coronavirus has seen the sales of supplements such as vitamin D, vitamin K2, vitamin C and zinc skyrocket, despite repeated FDA-required emails from supplement companies stating emphatically that vitamins and minerals simply cannot and will not strengthen your immune system in any way. You should always consult your doctor before taking any supplements, and your doctor will most likely suggest that you instead rely on getting adequate nutrition from a balanced diet determined by the for-profit agri-companies who created the food pyramid, while sitting in your high-EMF microapartment and avoiding the sun. Admittedly, most people are extremely deficient in vitamin D and K2, and admittedly, these vitamins are used by our immune systems, but despite this, getting more of them won’t improve your immune system.

There is a “Magic Cure”, as Donald Trump has Suggested

Some have suggested that an anti-Malarial drug has cured many people from Coronavirus in trials conducted in France, and that China has already been using the drug and suggested it to the WHO a long time ago, which ignored the advice and focused instead on having their health professionals of color give important speeches that proved how important they are. But according to the accredited media, this is just a rumor, and the drug is unlikely to be effective.

China Doesn’t Have the Virus Under Control

According to the accredited media, the Chinese government’s reported statistics and propaganda videos, including videos of clean streets, people returning to work, and happy health professionals dusting off the last vestiges of the epidemic, are 100% accurate, and we can simply take their word for it without needing to see any proof. For some reason, at some point in the last two weeks, when any of the 100,000 confirmed carriers (or ~300,000 unconfirmed carriers), came into contact with non-carriers, the virus just decided not to transmit anymore. Either that, or none of the 400,000+ carriers came into contact with ANY non-carriers, which is truly remarkable, and really speaks to China’s professionalism and amazingly robust and efficient response to this crisis. Despite these reports, conspiracy theorists claim that China still hasn’t opened their factories, and some say that China Mobile has mysteriously lost more than seven million users overnight.

The Virus Was Leaked from a Chinese Lab

Although many mistakenly believe that this virus escaped from a Chinese laboratory in Wuhan, one of the few such laboratories in China, new reports from the accredited media have suggested that the virus more likely arose within a marketplace in Wuhan, which would imply no incompetence or wrongdoing by the Chinese authorities.

Donald Trump is Handling the Crisis Well

This is probably the most insidious and blatant misconception of all. Donald Trump’s travel ban on China has been described as racist and xenophobic at best, and his travel ban on Europe as wholly ill-advised and reactionary. Trump’s clumsy, buffoonish response to this crisis and his complacent inaction has cost America hundreds of lives, and delivered a devastating blow to the stock market that it may never recover from. All we can hope for now is that America comes to its senses and elects a level-headed and competent president like Joe Biden, who is able to deal with the crisis in a measured and professional manner. Until then, expect more chaos and more cases.
