Why Common Core is Essential for Educational Progress

Common core promises to radically reshape American education in exciting ways, giving students the tools they need to function as responsible members of a modern liberal society. In addition to enforcing rigorous academic standards, it also covers a range of relevant social justice topics and life skills, such as racism, sexism and detailed sex education.

The common core reading list has been selected to include a variety of relevant societal and social issues. For example, the list includes the book “Barrack Obama”, which highlights the racism motivating many whites to vote for other candidates during in 2008. Common core also teaches children that they do not have to accept the race, gender or religion that they were born with. They are taught that race and gender are social constructs, and that other religions such as Islam are available in addition to Christianity.

Sex education is also integrated into every subject in common core, including math, science and English, and is taught from kindergarten. This prevents extreme Christian and conservative families from keeping their children in the stone age about important sexual topics and ensures that they are not hindered sexually in the real world. Children are taught a variety of sex acts, and that there is no such thing as ‘normal’ sex, helping to demystify the oppressive taboos imposed by conservative society.

What’s more, common core is not just a set of educational standards. It also seeks to use technology to revolutionize the way we monitor educational progress. Common core requires each State to maintain a database of student performance and behavior. This will allow the federal government to analyse what works and what doesn’t, and will also open the gateway to family monitoring, allowing parenting experts to make sure parents are raising their children appropriately.

Conservatives criticize common core for its set of rigid standards, without acknowledging that these are simply a set of basic educational requirements, and if schools would like to add their own material on top of this, it would be permitted within boundaries. Opposition to common core inevitably emanates from the far right, who seem determined to keep education stuck in the past. As society progresses, there is inevitably a resistance to new ideas and new methods of teaching, but if we want our children to be healthy, happy and successful in the modern world, we have to embrace common core, and focus on preparing our children for the future.

Police racism is only getting worse. We need to take the protests to a whole new level and let the police no that we WILL NOT take it anymore. We need to attack police cars, attack policemen – let them know that they cannot intimidate us. The protests will be brutal and they will not stop until we get reparations and an end to police racism.

In the case of America, I don’t see how the country can ever be whole until it is returned to its rightful owners, the Native Americans.

MDB – you are wrong here and this is a perfect example of a microagression. I suggest that you immediately repent. “Injustices” to Native Americans are mostly imaginary – obviously, it is not wrong for US to sign treaties with them later to break those treaties when it is convenient or more land is needed, thus, in theory, allowing transfer of wealth to other visible minorities. This is in contrast with the horrible, criminal treatment of certain minorities now. Does every person on welfare has the latest iphone? No, and this is outrageous. Does a person deserve to be shot at and killed by police just because they have a gun in their hand or because they physically assault a police officer? Again, no.

Obviously the old ways weren’t working, therefore we needed something new, literally anything.

Fortunately those brave enough to champion Common Core made it a reality! This curriculum gives the tools and insights for children of all ages the ability to now mathematically prove atrocities such as Micropriviledge, False-Empathic Virtue Signalling, Covert-Assymetrical Nanoaggressions, Et al. etc.

Sadly, legitimate data is already showing white students are falling behind in this more advanced technical curriculum without the previous built in advantages. see: Gorton Pescaman’s work for stunning insight into this phenomenon; currently a former accredited professor at a Community College near Harvey Mudd.

Interesting. It makes sense that whites would fall behind in subjects like critical race theory that don’t have a history of discrimination. Math and science have never been inclusive of minorities or women, which is reflected in the demographics of STEM departments. As the privilege is removed, the test scores start to equalize.

Correct. The fallacious “merit” based systems and idealogies of old are being dismantled, ie White Priviledge, Patriachy.

With Top-Down Government enforced affirmative placement and legitimate pro-affirmations programs – that implement FAIR assymetric standards – we can look forward to a vibrant and diverse workforce in the advanced fields, and pull ourselves out of the White Patriocratic privileged malaise we have been forced into.

So it bags the question; In a “race to the bottom” – do we want to be LAST place?! I think we all know the answer.

Wow.. All these comments from the most privileged class of people in america. The only marketable skill is being black. Next you will be complaining Hispanics are racist because they speak Spanish and the black folks dont . don’t worry I am sure when president Sanchez comes into power in the future. He will really care about the welfare of the black community. Open yours eyes white america is not the enemy.

He wasn’t reading a book, the written word is oppression from the White Patriarchy and was brought to Africans at the same time as The Violence. Like electricity and indoor plumbing, it was brought to Africans by whites to OPPRESS THEM.

Keith Lamont Scott was holding a gun in a threatening manner, but the black cop who shot him was too privileged with White Privilege, to check it.

Even if he had fired shots at the police, how does that in ANY way compare to the 1 million femtoaggressions that compose EACH microagression foisted on all minorities constantly? It’s not even comparable. The police are part of White Supremacy. Codified Law is part of White Supremacy. It is a tool to impose White Supremacy on black lives, not persons of color, because for some reason other brown-colored persons have lower offense rates than whites. This needs further study to see how white racism is causing it.
