Musicians, Hollywood stars, modern artists, economists, politicians and university professors all live lives of sophistication and glamor, but also of moral significance. The smartest millennials dream of one day entering this club of respected elites, but the reality is only a few will make it.
The streets of San Francisco and LA are lined with trendy bars and nightclubs, catering to the refined tastes of America’s successful actors, filmmakers and musicians. Musicians and Hollywood stars are renowned for their philanthropy and charitable contributions. Stopping Climate Change, helping the poor and delivering universal healthcare are among their many charitable ambitions. Diversity and inclusion are also of paramount importance – and while the inner circles of these elite subcultures tend to be mostly Jewish and white, they are nevertheless making a profound effort to make America a more inclusive country as a whole.
The streets of New York City are packed with art galleries, coffee shops, and book stores, creating a stimulating intellectual environment for liberal intellectuals. The tasteful scholar will sip a latte in one of New York’s many trendy cafes, while reading the New York Times, as sophisticated Jazz music plays softly in the background. It’s in this calm, requiescent environment that America’s most influential economists and social scholars dream of new ideas about where to take our country, and how to tackle the many problems that face our world, such as inequality, overpopulation and destruction of the environment.
These people should be held up as examples for young people to aspire to, and to look up to for moral and intellectual guidance during these challenging times. Many will claim that engineers and businessmen drive economic growth, but the truth is, it is liberal thinkers in politics and the media who make the most profound differences in society.
It’s an ongoing problem, and you’re right, Islamaphobia and other forms of racism are a direct result of the racial inequality in America’s leadership. If America thinks it can just trot out Obama as the first African American president, and then go back to electing white males in perpetuity, they are sorely mistaken. America is STILL a racist and sexist country, and it’s going to take decades, if not centuries, of heavy affirmative action and reparations to balance this out.
It could take forever. Remember, the further we go, the further we have to go to combat racism and privilege.
Once we have eradicated all the microaggressions…we will have picoaggressions to deal with. Then femtoaggressions and attoaggressions and so forth. The work will never end and will only grow geometrically. Think about this when you’re checking your privilege- every microaggression contains one thousand picoaggressions!! That’s a LOT OF RACISM that is constantly bombarding minorities while they are plagued by The Violence.

Yes, an oft overlooked reality is the breakdown of the MACROaggresion. As you have pointed out, as they become more cunning and subservise they breakdown into smaller and smaller units, which are often actually MORE damaging (see: Fractals of Aggresion theory, Counterintuitive Triggering theory,etc). I think that the Fed should do the necessary to get a visa for Alali Adamso, a man born in Ethiopia who has a BA in Economics and who once worked in another country for the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry. Shlomo Molla would be a good prospect too.

Totally agree. A basic income would free people up from mundane day to day tasks and let people focus on social justice. Imagine the progress that could be made without wage slavery and white male bosses imposing rules on everybody. This would accelerate the advancement of liberal values and lift millions of people of color out of poverty. So why don’t we do it? Blame white privilege and white supremacy.
I think the only way, as a white person, I can truly check my white privilege is to take my own life – self immolation probably being the best way to get my message across.
